Standing By...

These legendary cookies (brought by a guest) remind us of the last time we held a show. It was a wildly risky thing to do on March 9, 2020.

Then restrictions lifted and we made a plan August 17th, 2021. Then restrictions came back and we revised the plan. But that went awry due to extreme fire activity in the region.

Oh dear. Stay safe everybody.

We love opportunities to showcase our local Kelowna talent and this is one of those opportunities.  Graham and Aaron Ord are a father and son duo who bring together guitar and celtic harp to create beautiful music.  Graham performed a house concert here in 2015 as part of The Trips and we saw Aaron perform at a concert in West Kelowna in 2017.  We are looking forward to seeing them perform together right here in our living room!

THE CRESCENT SKY
Postponed

Sometimes we get requests from bands who want us to host them for a concerts and within seconds of listening to their music we say yes!  This was one of those times.  The Crescent Sky is an award winning progressive-folk band that formed in 2018. The band consists of Regan and Anna Luth, and Jason and Anna Ratzlaff. They are individually strong songwriters, who together unify a passion for storytelling with a love of music and creative expression. Drawing on their extensive musical backgrounds, The Crescent Sky offers technical intricacies paired with relatable lyrics and powerful harmonies that complete their honest sound. The Crescent Sky has played at the CBC Nooners Concert Series, opened for country artist JJ Shiplett, been nominated for multiple Fraser Valley Music Awards and placed in the Top 100 in CBC's 2019 Searchlight contest. They are touring this summer to promote their debut album.
