I have been following Scott Cook's world travels for about 3 years so it was an honour and privilege to host him, Bramwell and Melissa for a show. Our audience was over 50% new to house concerts and Scott made believers out of them. I propose that music is one of the few socially acceptable means to speak heart to heart in North American culture. Through his simple songs and generous ways Scott takes an unusually direct route to his listener's heart.
UPDATE September 2014: Scott was nominated for Canadian Folk Music Awards New/Emerging Artist of the year for the album "Pass it Along".
