We just can't say enough about how wonderful the house concert adventure has been for us so far. We made our first inquiry with Home Routes about a year ago and managed to get on the "Salmonberry Circuit" hosting:

Then in August we counted ourselves lucky to have accepted a request for an impromptu date with:
Steve Brockley
Our job is to invite our friends, neighbours and friends of friends and neighbours, prepare the house and enjoy. Being the host brings at least 3 bonus blessings:
Blessing 1: We are "forced" to get to know as many people as possible so that we can honour the visiting artist with a large, appreciative audience. Turns out there are lots of wonderful people to meet and almost everybody thinks that hearing professional musicians in a living room sounds cool. That makes it easy.
Blessing 2: We get to know, at least a little, these amazing musicians who have dedicated so much of their lives to honing the craft of heart-melting. They inspire us. That's an understatement.
Blessing 3: We get the privilege of witnessing the heart-melting madness in our very own living room and enjoy the elevated conversations that result.
We are very much looking forward to the upcoming season and we hope this site will help our friends and neighbours share the invitation with their friends and neighbours as well.
