Sarah Jane and her Brilliant String Band were brilliant, obviously. The Brilliant String band is: Sarah Frank on fiddle (we have not ever seen better), Luke Fraser on mandolin and Mathieu Lacombe on stand-up bass. The two Sarah's voices harmonize like sisters' and Sarah Jane's original songs sound like they have been around forever. A musically accomplished and very, very entertaining ensemble.

UPDATE September 2014: Sarah Jane and her Brilliant String Band were nominated for Canadian Folk Music Awards Traditional Album of the year for "The Cape".
